Microsoft Dynamics Business Central has landed. At the beginning of April Microsoft debuted the release of their sole product line, Microsoft D365 Business Central.

There's a lot to be excited about with the change in offering this coming year and beyond!

Users have been given the opportunity to upgrade to a package that pulls together all the great functionalities from both the existing NAV line and the previous D365 offering.

So, what's the setup? Let's look at D365 Business Central's new pricing and implementation structure.

Pricing

The solution has been split into two distinct levels; Essentials and Premium.

Essentials

The Essentials package is priced at just £52.79 per user per month. Including key functionalities such as:

  • Financial management
  • Customer Relational management
  • Supply chain management
  • Human resources
  • Project management

This offering will speak to the needs of larger businesses and those operating from multiple locations needing sales order functionality and additional financial capabilities.

Premium

The Premium package is priced at £75.40 per user per month. Key functionalities include:

  • Financial management
  • Customer Relational management
  • Supply chain management
  • Human resources
  • Project management
  • Service Order management
  • Manufacturing

Manufacturing

This is a great choice for larger businesses and those operating from multiple locations. The key distinction here will be organisations looking for the added features of service management and manufacturing.

Implementation

There isn't a huge amount that's changed when it comes to the process and benefits of D365 implementation, only now, you'll have three implementation options to choose from:

Assisted

The assisted implementation will help with the traditional install and set up but will include additional features such as customer and supplier data importing, inputting/set up of bank details*, dedicated training and support days, including four hours of complimentary support for the first 30 days after go-live. *

Professional

The professional package includes a full implementation of D365 Business Central Essentials, with an onsite consultant for an initial scoping.

Professional Plus

The professional plus package is the largest of implementation packages. You'll get the full implementation for D365 Business Central Premium, with a consultant that will undertake a full scoping exercise.
